TAX COLLECTIONS

The 2023 pay 2024 tax bill will be mailed by April 15th and have due dates of May 10, 2024 and November 12, 2024.

There will be only one mailing for payment of both spring and fall installments and the tax statement mailed to you will contain both coupons.

Based on the March 1st ownership, taxes are due and payable the following year in two (2) equal installments on or before May 10th and November 13th. If a due date falls on a Saturday, Sunday, or national legal holiday recognized by the federal government, or a statewide holiday, the deadline is extended to the next working day.

Tax bills are mailed once a year, hopefully in late March to early April, with both the spring and fall tax bills included. Payments must be received or federally post-marked by the deadline to avoid penalties.

THE FOLLOWING PAYMENT OPTIONS ARE AVAILABLE

Payments by mail should be sent to:
La Porte County Treasurer
